Shipping & Delivery Policy
How we ship and deliver your orders across Australia.
Last updated: 18 February 2025
1. Overview
TFH Site Direct ships goods Australia-wide. We use our own logistics network and trusted freight partners to deliver temporary fencing, barriers, and site essentials to construction, events, and industry customers. This policy describes how we calculate shipping, delivery options, and expected timeframes.
2. Delivery options
We offer:
- Calculated shipping — Delivery cost is calculated at checkout based on your delivery postcode and the size/weight of your order. We use zone-based rates for different regions across Australia.
- Local pickup — You may collect your order from one of our branches (Click & Collect). Select this option at checkout and choose your preferred branch. We will notify you when the order is ready for collection.
3. Delivery timeframes
Timeframes are estimates and depend on your location and stock availability:
- Metro areas — Many metro deliveries can be completed within 1–2 business days for orders placed before cut-off (e.g. 2pm).
- Regional areas — Regional deliveries typically take 2–5 business days or more depending on distance and carrier schedules.
- Remote areas — Longer lead times may apply. We will advise at checkout or after order confirmation where possible.
Business days are Monday–Friday excluding Australian public holidays. Dispatch usually occurs from the branch or warehouse closest to your delivery address where stock is available.
4. Shipping cost
Shipping cost is shown at checkout when you enter your delivery postcode (for calculated shipping). Costs vary by zone, weight, and dimensions. For large or heavy orders, we may contact you to confirm freight arrangements or provide a quote. Local pickup is typically free of delivery charge; any handling or minimum order requirements will be shown at checkout.
5. Order processing and dispatch
Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, we process it for dispatch. You will receive an order confirmation and, where applicable, tracking information once the order is dispatched. If we anticipate any delay (e.g. out-of-stock items), we will contact you.
6. Delivery address and access
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery where required. For large or heavy items, the delivery may require suitable access (e.g. loading dock, clear path). If the carrier cannot complete delivery due to incorrect address, absence of recipient, or access issues, additional charges or redelivery fees may apply.
7. Risk and ownership
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the nominated address (or on collection if you choose pickup). Ownership passes in accordance with our Terms and Conditions (typically on delivery once payment has been received in full).
8. Damaged or missing goods
If you receive damaged or missing goods, please note the issue on the delivery documentation if possible and contact us within a reasonable time (e.g. 24–48 hours). We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the matter and arrange replacement or refund as appropriate under our Return and Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
